OUR Story
Amy Hough
Hey Sleepy Parents!
I’m Amy and I’m a mom of two- a silly, spunky girl and a sweet, busy boy. I’m married to an amazing guy named Chris. I’m a “fire wife” so the frequent nights alone make sleep a necessity for me as I’m flying solo with the kids when he’s gone! When our daughter Tenley was born, she was pretty much a breeze in the sleep department. But then one day she started climbing out of her crib and so we made the switch to a toddler bed right after she turned 2. This is when things changed. About a month later our sweet little Trent came along and let’s just say he was NOT a breeze! So we were battling Tenley getting out of bed all night and eventually passing out on our floor and a newborn who was addicted to his pacifier and needed it replaced every hour or so in addition to his several feedings. I was back to work and this was just NOT working! We gently trained both of them and eventually peace was restored in our home. I can’t tell you the difference good sleep has made in our lives. It is an amazing thing to be able to put our kids to bed early without a fight and know that they will sleep through the night! We have our evenings to ourselves and all of us are happier and healthier.
Sleep has become a big passion of mine and I LOVE meeting other moms and dads and having the opportunity to guide them through the process of teaching independent sleep skills. It is the best feeling in the world to help other families have the same reality as I do.
I attended Wichita State University majoring in Business (Entrepreneurship) while pole valuting for the Track/Field team. Starting this business and helping families in such a meaningful way is an absolute dream. I am a fully certified pediatric sleep specialist through the Sleep Sense program developed by Dana Obleman. I completed an extensive live training and mentorship program with Dana herself.
Let’s chat and get started on teaching your child healthy sleep habits!
